What to Expect on Your First Visit

At your first visit, we will review the questionnaire and get a detailed history of your problem and conduct a physical assessment of your pelvic floor muscles and, if applicable, pelvic organ prolapse.

Together we will develop a treatment plan that will include education, bladder/bowel re-education and training, and pelvic floor muscle re-education.

Follow-Up Visits

Follow-up visits will include a review of your treatment plan, a reassessment of the pelvic floor muscles, bladder/bowel re-education and training, and home exercise program.  Biofeedback and possible electrical muscle simulation may be offered.
