In 2004 BC Women's collaborated with the BC Centre of Excellence for Women's Health, with funding from the Ministry of Health, to generate the province's first Provincial Women's Health Strategy.

In 2011, the Provincial Health Officer released a significant report on the health status of women in British Columbia. Based on multiple sources of data, The Health and Well-being of Women in British Columbia offers readers comprehensive information about numerous women's health issues and conditions; women's living and working conditions; maternal and infant health; health practices; environmental health; chronic disease and injury; and women's use of health services.
