All medical students MUST apply for electives directly to the University of British Columbia's MD Undergraduate Program.
International Medical Students must be in their final year and attending an accredited medical school in the United States, or an approved medical school in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa. Note: Canadian citizens are ineligible if they are studying in locations other than those identified above.
Post-Graduate Trainees should refer to the MD Postgraduate Program website for out of province regulations.
