What we do
These resources are free to access and borrow through our physical and digital collection. The collection includes print books, eBooks, CDs, DVDs, games, and teaching tools like charts, flash cards and visuals.
We provide information on a variety of health topics, like:
- Coping with new diagnoses
- Indigenous wellness
- Living with chronic conditions
- Mental health and well-being
- Mindfulness
- Neurodiversity
- Social and emotional learning
- Medical tests and procedures
Families, caregivers and patients are welcome to visit the Family Library at the hospital to use our computers and printer.
The Family Library also has a small selection of toys, puzzles and entertainment activities for families, children and youth to enjoy.
